Meet Dr. Joshua Gish

Koeppel Dental Group – A Dental365 Company is proud to have Dr. Joshua Gish, Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, as part of our team. A graduate of Bucknell University with a Bachelor of Arts in Biology, Dr. Gish received his Doctor of Dental Surgery (D.D.S.) with honors from the University at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine. In his quest for excellence, he then completed a general dentistry residency program at Long Island Jewish Medical Center prior to his Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery training at North Shore Long Island Jewish Medical Center. This gives Dr. Gish a deep understanding of Prosthetics which is critical in placement, and restoration of dental implants. Dr. Gish learned to compassionately treat patients in challenging dental situations through his rotations at Long Island Jewish Medical Center, Stony Brook University Hospital and the Northport VA Medical Center. In addition to his private practice, Dr. Gish is the Director of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery at Mather Hospital and is an Attending surgeon at St. Charles Hospital.

Dr. Gish is our Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon. Although there are many dentists placing implants, Koeppel Dental Group chooses to only have the most qualified dentists and surgeons perform procedures on our patients. With his extensive training, Dr. Gish is the surgeon that other dentists call if they encounter a situation that it out of their comfort zone. Our patients are at ease knowing they have the most elite board certified oral surgeon as their care provider.

While not at work, Dr. Gish enjoys spending time with his wife and four boys. He keeps busy with them by playing soccer, golf and taking advantage of the many activities on the water that Long Island offers.
